.. As Kogi Govt. Declares FMC Lokoja Breeding Ground For Covid-19.
As the lockdown in Kabba town enters it second day, the Paramount ruler of the ancient kingdom, the Obaro of Kabba, Oba Micheal Owoniyi, has cried out for help, saying that in just one night, herdsmen have invaded farms in the area.
The Obaro decried the hardship saying that the Government needs to intervene quickly to stem the further damage the lockdown would cause.
The Obaro made the remarks when he received members of the lockdown monitoring team visited the palace, said in just one day life no longer the same in Kabba.
The ancient city of Kabba, headquarters of Kabba Bunu LGA could be described as a ghost town yesterday as life socio economically was brought to a halt yesterday.
The monitoring team were seen seizing all motorcycles and impounding vehicles of violators, with all activities grounded.
As at yesterday the ever busy town with night life was completely went to sleep as no single soul was seen on the streets yesterday night.
Only few residents were seen seated in front of their houses, as many for fear of the patrolling soldiers were locked up in their houses.
The roads were empty with no vehicular movement an indication that the people of Kabba adhere to to the lockdown order.

In a related development residents of Lokoja have been warned against visiting the Federal Medical Centre Lokoja as the machine the Federal Ministry of Health and the NCDC are bringing to Federal Medical Centre Lokoja has been alledgedly programmed to record positive Covid-19 cases only.
According to the Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, while briefing the press after today’s state executives council meeting, sample collection materials he alledged have been infected with Covid-19.
According to him, ” Our people should be careful accessing healthcare at FMC, Lokoja for now.
” The institution has become an incubation point for breeding false Covid-19 cases.

” Both the Federal Ministry of Health and NCDC are not trusted and we have every reason not to ever believe their commercial efforts against Covid-19.
” People should know that NCDC is desperate to attack the people of Kogi State with Coronavirus at all cost.
” But the Government of Kogi State will defend her people. Our people should not panic. Government is on top of the situation,” he said.
