Engineer Akaba Mourns demise of Kogi Chief Judge

Acting Sole Administrator of Ajaokuta Steel Complex, Engineer Absul-Akaba Sumaila among other prominent Nigerians have mourned the death of the former Chief Judge of Kogi State,Hon Justice Nasir Ajanah who died on Sunday in Abuja.

Akaba, in a statement issued to journalists on Monday in Lokoja,described the demised of Justice Ajanah as a monumental loss to Kogi State which the late Chief Judge served for in various capacities.

He described Ajanah as a humble servant of the people, a compassionate leader, a legal luminary whose actions were guided by the fear of Allah and a revered statesman whose impact positively affected the people of the state in general.

The Acting Sole said Ajanah’s death has robbed the state of wise counsel noting that the vacuum created by the loss will be difficult to fill.

“We lost a refined statesman and a man of honour. We are however consoled by the fact Baba lived a good life and left behind a legacy of honour and a good name. May Allah forgive him all his shortcomings and reward him with aljanat firdaus.
To the family,may Allah Grant them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost,’ Akaba prayed
