2023 Presidency; Atiku will contest – Son

The son of former vice president and PDP,Presidential candidate in 2019 presidential election,Adamu Atiku has declared that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will contest for Nigeria’s presidency come 2023.

Adamu Atiku-Abubakar, son of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 Presidential election, has disclosed that his father will contest for Nigeria’s Presidency come 2023.

Adamu a serving Commissioner for works and Energy in Adamawa state, disclosed this to newsmen while presenting scorecard of his ministry as the Administration of Gov. Fintiri celebrates 365 days in office.

“Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with my father contesting for the presidency.

“In 2023, my father will be aspiring to the number one office in the land because he has been an astute, strategic, master politician for almost four decades,” Mr Abubakar said.

On February 27, 2019, Abubakar had lost the presidential race to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The former Vice President however, contested the election in court, describing the election as “worst in Nigeria’s democratic history”.
